This policy covers both the Chant d'Espérance website at cesperance.com and the Chant d'Espérance mobile app on iOS and Android. We are operated by D7 Labs.
When you create an account we collect your email address, your display name when provided by your sign-in provider, the authentication provider you used (Google, Apple, or email/password), and a randomly assigned user ID. We do not ask for your phone number or address.
Favorites, notes, highlights, saved meditations, and your own songs that you create in the app. This content is stored privately under your account and only visible to you, unless you explicitly share a song via a share link.
We collect anonymous analytics on which features are used, app crashes and performance metrics, the language you set, and basic device information (model, OS version, app version). We use Google Analytics on the website and Firebase Analytics + Firebase Crashlytics + Firebase Performance Monitoring in the mobile app.
The free version of the mobile app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android), IP address, and ad interaction data. On iOS we ask for your permission via the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking-style data is shared with AdMob — if you decline, you still see ads but they are non-personalized. Premium subscribers see no ads and no advertising data is collected from them.
We use the following third-party services to operate the app and website. Each one has its own privacy policy linked below.
On the website we use cookies to remember your language and theme preferences, sign you in, and serve advertising via Google AdSense. In the mobile app we do not use cookies, but the AdMob SDK may store an advertising identifier on your device for the purposes described above.
Chant d'Espérance is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We keep your account data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your account data within 30 days. Anonymous analytics may be retained for up to 14 months by Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics per their default retention settings.
When we update this policy we will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will also be announced in-app or via email.
